A few July questions

Coast, altitude and hotel location shape July plans on Tenerife.

Is Tenerife hot in July?

The south coast is generally warm and dry. Conditions change by coast and altitude, and Teide can be much cooler than the beach.

Should I stay in the north or south?

Costa Adeje and La Caleta suit a drier beach base. Puerto de la Cruz is a town-and-garden option with greater exposure to north-coast cloud.

Can I hike Teide in July?

Check current trail, cable-car, permit and weather information before setting out. The summit environment is not described by the coastal forecast.

Are hotel pools open in summer?

The listed hotels describe pools, but access and operating hours can change. Confirm current details with the property before booking around a particular pool.
